KING'S THEATRE.
Something out of the ordinary is seen in "Do Your Duty," featuring Charlie Murray, which is the main attraction in the'change of programme at the King's Theatre.' Charlie Murray has been seen in' many notable productions, but- it is. doubtful whether any previous picture in which he featured has surpassed "Do Your Duty." In this production the comedian is seen as a New York police patrolman, and also as the father, of a large and troublesome' family. Promotion, well earned, is taken from him when he Is "framed" by a gang of thieves, but tho chance comes for Maloney to.reinstate himself, and ho takes full advantage of it. Half an hour before his daughter's wedding, which is to take place at the station-house, tho policeman receives warning of a. robbery which has been planned, and with the assistance of a Scotch friend he captures a band of daring robbers and is once moro given a position of trust in the force. There- is any amount of humour in the picture, and Charlie Murray makes use of every opportunity presented as.far as funmaking is concerned. Ho. is supported by a strong cast. The supporting programme Is good. It includes an interesting news, a scenic, and a Larry Serum comedy. The King's Orchestra supplies appropriate music.
