The management of the Eastbourne ferry and bus. service;draws attention to:attractions'for, tq;iiiorrow. -^ The T.S.S.,,Muritai. is in commission, and enables patrons to take the children to the bays for a beautiful day's outing on the safe, sandy beaches,of Day's Bay.^and Ro'na Bay. A special boat wi/1 leave Petone at 11.55 a.m. for Day's Bay, and "this will give residents o£ Petone.the-sarfle opportunity and privi-: leges as residents of Wellington. The boat will return from Day's Bay to Petone at 5 p.m. There are ample grass and asphalt tennis courts at both ..bays. Patrons will be well advised during the good weather to avail themselves of the opportunity of the round trip—bus out and boat home. On Wednesday night, 16th January, the T.S.S. Muritai will run a harbour excursion, leaving ■ Wellington .at 8 p.m. and Petone at 8.30 p.m., returning to Wellington at 11 p.m., and Petone at 11.30 p.m., thence to the bays. A first:class cabaret orchestra has been engaged.
