Holiday-makers: on Anniversary Day will again have an opportunity of visiting Picton, Blenheim, and 'the , Marlborough Sounds.':■ The great popularity of the steamer exoursioiis across the Straits has led'the Union. Company to. arrange an excursion to Picton by the Maori on .Tuesday, 22nd January (Anniversary Day). She will leave-Wellington at 8 a.m., arriving in Picton about 10.45- a.m. Most of the excursionist's,will no doubt find their chief interest;,in "Picton, exploring the scenic reserves ;6r taking advantage of the many specialty-arranged launch trips about the Sounds; but;for. those who wish to take a run-to' Blenheim the Railway Department has arranged a train to suit. , The Maori will leave "Picton on the return trip about. 2 p.m., arriving at Wellington about 5 p.m. . ,..'... . .
