FIRE IN KARORI
A . wooden house containing " five rooms, situated at o^.-'Duthie street, Karon, and owned by ' Violet::' Maud Smy the, was damaged by fire-lato'yes-terday afternoon. The Eire Brigade'received the call at 4.4G o'clock,-and managed to save the house, which was unocc'upie.d. The contents .were insured in the State odice for £100, and the house was insured in the : State- Office for £400, and in the South British Office for £250. . '■■■■■ "■ ■ '
