The Ministry of Health's statistics regarding the housing subsidy show that in the twelve months ended 30th September, the houses completed witli Stato assistance numbered 101,790. Of this number 59,000 were built by local authorities. The Ministry now has records of over 1,162,000 houses completed between January, 1919, and 30th September last. j
