BROTHER TAKES BLAME
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, This Day. After having been sentenced to three months' imprisonment for conversion of a motor-car, along with his brother William, who pleaded guilty and took all the blame, James Eussell served one week in gaol before his case was reheard by Mr. Hunt. The Magistrate gave reserved judgment to-day. He said that Jamea Bussell's conduct was strange, but as there was a doubt the prisoner was entitled to tho benefit of it. The chaTgc againt him would be- dismissed.
