(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DANNEAIBKE, This Day. Mr. E. A. Ransom, the United Party j candidate, opened his election cam- ! paign at Ormoudville last night. He claimed that there was room in Parliament for a third party. The United Party represented the middle class, as | against the other extremes which were represented by Eeform and Labour. He I adversely criticised the Government legislation regarding farmers' finance, land settlement, and taxation. Ho claimed that on past service lie was entitled to be returned. He was accorded a vote of thanks.
