A PERSONAL MESSAGE
In a personal message to the electors attached to tho manifesto Mr. Coatos says:— In asking for a continuance of your support and 'co-operation, my one desire is to serve New Zealand. I have always believed in a plain plan of work which I have honestly endeavoured to carry out. My policy in 1925 was one with which every patriotic New Zealander could associate himself. , Some additions and alterations .have now been made —for time moves on, and we must meet changing conditions. The underlying principles, however, are essentially the same. | I cannot offer you .^something for nothing. The measure of our national prosperity must depend on our work and our thrift. Let us, there--I fore, combine to promote still further the advancement of the land we love so well, .
