CHEMIST'S WARNING REGARDING COUGH MIXTURES. AN UNPLEASANT EXPOSURE. Quito a large proportion of the cough and cold remedies on the market contain opium or morphia in the form of paregoric (a preparation of opium), laudanum (another, ( preparation of opium), chlorodine, etc., says a qualified chemist. "People who, take these mixtures are unknowingly but surely forming a drug habit. Cough mixtures containing any form of poison should be entirely banished from the home. They do more harm- than good." The best preparation in this chemist's opinion is "Heenzo" (Hean's Essence), which does not contain the slightest proportion of any poison. It can be given to the youngest members of the family, and in all cases it has proved a most effective specific for coughs, colds, and all throat and chest ailments. One bottle makes a pint, and a substantial money-saving is thus effected. ■ . "Hoenzo" is obtainable everywhere, 2s 6d bottle.—Adyt.
