PETONE FORESHORE.
The Potone Borough Council last evening decided to convey to Mr. W. Donovan, B.Se., of the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, the cordial thanks of the council for ,his valuable assistance to the commission which recently reported on the question of beach pollution. The council also expressed its thanks to tho Lord Mayor of Hull'(England) for a voluminous report on the methods adopted in Hull for disposing of fish refuse. The town clerk was instructed to forward the report to tho'members of the Commission.
