MANAWATU INTEREST
The Maydiv (Mr. A. J. Graham) has telegraphed to..Kingsford Smith extending him; on behalf of the citizens, a hearty invitation to visit Palmerston North while on his northern tour: The president of the Manawatu .Radio Club (Mr.. W. A. Waters) also forwarded the following telegram to the aviators:—"Heartiest congratulations ito yourself and companions. Club members exceedingly interested and delighted with South Cross achievements." The following reply has been received:—"Veryimany thanks for your congratulatory telegram.—Kingsford Smith and Ulm."
