KING'S THEATRE.
William Haines will be seen in his latest production "Telling tile World," at the King's Theatre, commencing to-night. Tho story requires him to face a Chinese revolution and Chinese summary justice for tho sake of tho cirl he loves, and in tills sequence ho keeps his spectators on tho tip-toe of mingled suspense and excitement. "Telling tho World shows Haines's comic ability, however, equally as much as his dramatic talent, and this picture is generally considered to contain more comedy than any of his previous productions. Anita Page, a young newcomer to the screen, appears opposite him as leading lady, and by her extraordinary talent is reported to Rlvo a strong romantic appeal-to the whole production A largo and well-varied supporting programmo will also be screened, and tho Kings Orchestra, under Mr. A. H. Jerome, will supply the musical numbers. Screening nightly until Tuesday is tho official Him record of the arrival of tho Southern Cross at Christchurch. Interesting shots depict tho preparations at Sortburn, the feverish excitement, and the final landing of the 'plane, together with tiie great reception accorded the intrepid airmen.
