LINESMAN'S DEATH
COMPENSATION SETTLED A compensation caao arising out of tho death of a Public Works employee was disposed of by tho Arbitration Court yesterday. Walter Claude Ingloy,' single, aged 25 years, a linesman in the electrical branch of the Public Works Department, was electrocuted at tho Waitohui sub-station, Otaki, on 7th February, 1928, in tho course of bis employment. His dependants, his father and mother, petitioned against the Crown on the basis of partial dependancy. A settlement was arrived at, and to-day the Court gave judgment for the petitioner for £200 and costs. Mr. C. F. Atmoro (Otaki) appeared the petitioner, and Mr. J. Prcndeyille for the Crown.
