MAN ASPHYXIATED
m (By Telegraph.—Press Association) AUCKLAND, This Day. The death of Pereival Hunt, aged 42, a widower, who was found dead alongside a gas heater at his residence in Park road on Tuesday, was investigated at an inquest yesterday. Mrs. Laura Florence Brooks, sister of the deceased, said that she last saw him alive when she went to work on Tuesday morning. On returning in the even ing she found her brother dead alongside a gas heater. It appeared as if he had dozed off in a chair by the heater, and that the flame had been extinguished by a breeze through the window. He had evidently been asphyxiated. Tin inquest was adjourned.
