Sir William Glasgow, interviewed, declared that Canadian farmers appeared to be unnecessarily alarmed over the shipments of Australian butter. He said: "The Australian product is placed on tho Canadian market at a timo when tho butter production of this country is at its lowest point." He also pointed out that the value of Canadian products imported by Australia was at present four times the amount of Australian goods purchased by Canada.
