(By Telegraph.) (Special to "The Evenint) Post.") WANGANUT, This Day. Though tho weather was fine this morning for training operations, tho sky became overcast later, and light rain fell. It was drizzling at 11 o 'clock, and tho prospects were not very promising for to-morrow. A large number of horses wero worked, but in the majority of cases they were kopt to steady paco work or trotting. Catkin slipped over a slick half-mile in a tick under 51sec, the last two furlongs taking 25 4-ssec. The Catmint gelding is well, but may need a race. Full Feather sprinted homo up the straight, hitting out well. Holus Bolus pleased over five furlongs in lmin ssee. Mautoa Treasury was not pushed to do five furlongs in lmin 4 3-ssec. Baskier left four furlongs behind in 52sec, goiug nicely. Palo Star and Auriculus took lmin 4 3-ssoc for five furlougs, the former pleasing most. Avoncourt (Keesing) and Black Mint (Barry) were companions over four furlongs in 51 4-Ssce, tlio first quarter taking 25 3-ssec. Laughing Princo and Avro took lmin 4 3-ssec for .five furlongs, the first two being covered in 26 l-ssec. Laughing Prince appeared well and must bo hard in tho Eclipse Stakes on Saturday. Dnyguard skipped over live furlongs in lmin 4see, doing tho first furlong in 12 4-ssec, the quarter-mile in 25sec, and three furlongs in 37 l-ssec. Ho is forward. Consent and High Falutin' covered five furlongs in lmin 4sec, taking 13 l-ssec for the first furlong, 25sec for the two, and 37 l-ssee for three. Limited dashed over five furlongs, taking olsec for the last four. . Skypoint took 50 4-ssec to cover four furlongs. It was a pleasing effort, gaining him friends for the Maiden.
