MATRON OF HOSPITAL
Mi. C. M. Luke, chairman 'of tlio Wellington Hospital Board, stated at a special meeting of that body to-day that twelve applications had been received for the position of lady superintendent of the Hospital, and eighteen for the position of assistant lady superintendent. Tho applications would be sent to the Department of Health for comment if considered necessary. On the suggestion of the Rev. H. Van Staveren, it was agreed to ask Miss J. Bicknell, Director of the Nursing Division of the Health Department, to assist ( tho board with advieo when making the appointments. It was agreed that a special meeting of the board be held at ;in early date, probably during next week, to consider the applications and make the appointments.
