NORTH AMERICAN CROPS
WASHINGTON, 10th September. The Agriculture' Department has announced that if the indicated production of all wheat for 1938 was on the basis of Ist September condition report, it would total 901 million bushels, compared with 873 million bushels for 1927. The spring wheat was declared to be 82 1-10 per cent, of normal, indicating a total production of 237 million bushels, compared with 243 million bushels harvested iv 1927, Australian f'reas Association—United Ser»le« (Received 12th September, 10 a.m.) OTTAWA, 11th September. The "Winnipeg Free Press" estimates tho prairie wheat crop at 534,----621,412 bushels from 23,088,503 acres.
