HEAVY DEATH ROLL
LUNDENBURG RAIL SMASH Australian Press Association. (Received 12th September, noon.) VIENNA, 11th February. Twenty-four are dead in the Lundenburg railway smash, including eight still under tho. wreckage. Eightythree were injured and three are not expected to recover. M. Averescu, the Eumanian statesman, had a very narrow escape. He left the wrecked car for the dining car a minute before tho disaster. The Berlin-Vienna express crashed at full speed, into a goods train on a wrong siding.
