PANAMA CANAL RECORDS.
The Panama Canal seems to bo. setting new records year by year, states "Fa'irplay." A new high record for transit during any calendar or fiscal year period was established during the year ended 30th June, 1925. There were li-15G transits, exceeding by 371 the. previous high record established in the calendar year 11)27. The total amount of tolls collected for the fiscal year ended 30th June was 26,944,490 dollars, exceeding by 713,476 dollars the tolls for the calendar period last year. The traffic In .Time, however, was the lightest of any month in the pats fiscal year, and the only month in which less than 500 ships passed through the Canal.
