Finest New Zealand butter is quoted at lSts-184s, first grade 1795-180s; Danish butter, 186sISSs; Irish butter, 1725-1745. Cheese: This market is firm, with New Zealand white cheese 113s-114s; New Zealand, coloured, IOOs-HOs; Canadian white cheese. 111s--112s; Canadian, coloured lO&a-llOs." .Dalgety and Company report, London, 6th September:—"Butter: Market slow. We quote: Danish, 190s to 192s (186s to 188s); New Zealand, finest, salted, 179s to 181s (180s to 184s): Australian, finest, unsalted, 17Ss to 180s (180s to 182s); Australian, finest, salted, 166s to ]70s (160s to 170s): Australian, G.A.Q., 15Ss to 102s (158s to 1625). Cheese: Market steady at present prices. We quote: New Zealand, white 112s to 114s (110s to 112s), coloured 109s to 110s (109s to 110s); spot price for Canadian, coloured and white, 110s to 112s (110s to 112s); Canadian, c.i.f., 109s to Ills (108s). -Last week's prices shown in parentheses.'' New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Aeency Co.. Ltd., have received the following cablegram from their London house, under date sth August: "Dairy produce (last week's quotations in parentheses): Buttei —N.Z. choicest salted, 182s per ewt (lS2s to )84s); market slow. Cheese—Coloured 100s to 110s per cwt; market slow. Cheese—"White, 12s per cwt (110s to 112s): market firm." _ Mr. Thomas Gray has received advice by cable from A. C. .Rawson, London, dated 6th September, that the following are ruling market prices: "Butter, ISOs to !S2s; steady. Cheese: White, in small supply, 11.45;' coloured. 110s."
