SAILORS' FRIEND SOCIETY.
♦ Mr. Martiuette was host at Thursday's concert to seafarers at the Sajlors' Friend Society. He brought his band, which rendeicd yoeman service, and secured many encores. The following also delighted jthe audience with songs:—Misses. B. Russell, Brickman, and I. Bubsell, and Messrs. "Austin, Guntrip, Comber, Riclly. Miss I Russell and Mr. Guntrip were at the piano. Prizes for the competitions came from Kelburn. The missioner, Mr. Moore, will be grateful for discarded books.
