Poneke, who are now at the top of the championship, competition, will be appearing at Athletic Park against Athletic. When these two teams met in the first round they provided some attractive play, and if conditions are right to-mor-. row they should give ■ a good account of themselves again. University, who are a point behind Poneke, are to meet Wellington at the Prince of Wales Park, and Petone will be playing Berhampore at the Petone ground. Eastbourne will be opposed to Old Boys at Eastbourne, and Oriental to Marist at Newtown Park. The principal fixtures ' will be preceded bylower grade matches. ' ■'■■■■ Peterson, the ex-Otago representative three-quarter, has joined up with the Petone Club. He is to make his • first appearance with Petone to-morrow afternoon against Berhampore.
