Club, last evening, a resolution strongly, approving of tho Daylight Saving Act was carried unanimously, all present being agreed that the operation of the Act during the last season had been most helpful in bringing about the most successful year in the history of tlie club., ■ One enthusiastic member even suggested that all present should pledge themselves not to vote for any candidate not in sympathy with the Bill. This proposal, however, was not embodied in the resolution.
