Jqrdon, Audit Inspector, of- Christchurch, in connection with the New Brighton Band uniforms, the Auditor-General has informed Mr. E. A. Mi Leaver,'of the New Brighton Borough, Council, that he is disqualified from acting; as: a councillor, and: an act .now. performed by him as a couri: cillor renders him liable to the penal-, ties imposed by section 41 (2) of the Act" .'<•.■.■:.'■.• ■ .
