CLERGYMAN MISSES BOAT .V TEMPORARY CALL (By Telegraph.) (Special to "The Evening Post.") AUCKLAND, This Day. Tho importance of getting accurate information with regard to how long a through passenger steamer is-staying in port prior to continuing her voyage was shown this week at Auckland, when an Adelaide clergyman who; had received a call to an important American church, left the Niagara to explore the beauties of tho city after being told that the boat would not leave till a certain hour. The information proved to be incorrect, and when the clergyman got'back to the wharf he found that his steamer had sailed two hours j beforp.and; was then well out to sea. 'Tho situation had. its humorous las well as its perplexing side, and tho outcome of it has been that the minister has agreed to fill St. Andrew's pulpit, lately vacated by the Bey. J. Lamb Harvey, who leaves for Home'by tho Maheno on Friday, for four Sundays ■ till the next Vancouver boat goes out. Si;. Andrew's Church managers think they are fortunate in having a minister of such marked ability to fill the vacant pulpit, if only for four weeks, y | ;;
