LODGE MEETINGS
The foituightly meetiug of licllcvuc Lodge, No. i"2U, 1.0.0. F., N.Z., was hold recently,' Bro. C' P. Gandy, N.G., prcsfdiug over a large attendance, visitors including the N.G., Bro. J. W. Marsden, ami members.of Waiwhetu Lodge, No. 130, on an oiiicial visit; Bio. T. L. Carter, P.G. j (Blenheim Lodge), Bros. J. E. Maley, P.G., A. G. Christie, P.G., K. D. Wallis (Zealandia Lodge), and Bro. Hall (Wildoy Lodge). One candidate was initiated, and degrees were conferred upon eight members of. subordinate lodges. Koso of Wellington liebekali Lodge, No. 38, 1.0.0. F., N.Z... held its fortnightly meting recently, Sister V. Schon, N.G., presiding over a good'Tittendance. Several invitations to socials, wore accepted. One candidate was nominated for membership. At the close of the meeting an enjoyable social and dance was held, the proceeds going to the P.N.G.'s Association. The fortnightly meeting of Mnntai Lodge, No. 113, 1.0.0. F., N.Z., was held last week, Bro, A. Smith, N.G., uresid'mg over a.fair.attendance. After the usual lodge business was transacted an enjoyable card evening was held. ,,.. , The fortnightly meeting of Kahin l!e----bekah Lodge, No. 49, I.O.O.l?., N.Z was held last week, the N.G., Sister J. JLahnvi, presiding over a good attendance. After business was concluded a very successful masked and fancy dress dance was held in conjunction with Maraemii Lodge. Zealandia Lodge, No. 4S, 1.0.0. F., N.Z., held ' its fortnightly meeting last week, Bro. A. G.- Christie, P.G., presiding over a good attendance, visitors including Bro. A. H. Valentine, Past Grand Master, and Bro. F.: Laivton, ,P;D.D.G.M. (Pioneer of Southland Lodge). Official visits were received from the DID.G.M., Broi F. J. Jones, and officers of District Lodge, Bro. G. F.. Rudkin, 0.P., and members of Port Nicholson Encampment Lodge, and Bro. T. Pincock, N.G., and members of Heretaunga Lodge. Two members were reported on the sick fund, and relative sick pay passed for payment. Reports were received from the'social committee regarding the recent social and the benefit "H00" tournament. Several invitations were received, and one candidate was nominated for. membership. After the meeting concluded a euchre tournament was- held, Bro. A. E. Darkins, P.G., winning the first prize, and Bro. J. Walker. P.G.. the "booby" prize. The fortnightly meeting of O-Kiwi-iti Rebnkah Lodge,'l.O.O.T?., N.Z., took place at Eastbourne last week. There was only ,i fair muster of members. Bro. Jones, T).D.G.M.. and Bro. Smith, N.G.. Muritiii Lodge, paid a visit. One new member was proposed, and Sister -Hanson was proposed as an associate member.
