As the result of a week's play in the North London tournament the Australians figure in the finals, of all five events to-morrow. To-day's matches attracted an increased attendance. Moon was not troubled in beating the former Indian Davis Cup player, A. A. Fyzee. The American, Brunie, pushed Cummings hard in the first set and led 5-4, 6-5. Then Cummings found his length and outdrove the American. Miss Boyd was at the top of her form against Mrs* O'Hara Wood. Miss Akhurst put up a great fight against Miss Eyan, whose heavy chops wore made more deadly by the heavy turf. Miss Ryan in the first set led 4-1. Then Miss Akhurst pulled up, 4-4. Hawkcs and Fisher defeated Moon and Cummings after an attractive match, in winch close volleying was the main feature. The South Australian Roberts, and Wildo reached the final of the junior doubles by hard hitting. Mrs. O'Hara Wood and Miss Biekcrtou found Miss Eyan and Mrs. Lyeett too strong. The Australians took the first set, and led 4-2, when 40-15, in the second, but their opponents, changing their tactics, making net play a feature, took the set in the eighteenth game. Bickerton weakened in the third set and lost her service games.
