INCREASE. IN CRADINCS Although the quantity of dairy pvodunj graded this season is mm:li below the expectation of producers when the season opened in August, it. is still ahead of the record season of 1920-27. lietunis of produce graded as received by the Dairy Division'show that for the ten mouths ended 31st'May "the output was as follows:— 1925. 1027. Ten months. Ten mouths. Tons. Tons. Butter 72,41!) 09,705 Cheese 73,435 74,505 Increase in butter 3.S.per cent.; decrease in cheese 1.4 per cent. Converting these figures into butter-fat equivalent, 'there is an increase of 2.12 per. cent, of butter-fat for the past ten mouths as compared with the corresponding period of the preceding season, so that this season promises to be a record, although not by so much as anticipated.
