LONDON, 30th May. • Bert Campbell, of Glasgow, > -who lived for fifteen, years in Australia, has been secretly constructing an. airship to fly to Australia at the end of July. At present he is learning airship navigation. Campbell says ho conceived the idea of a non-rigid airship for commercial service in Australia, for which, he says, he obtained, backing by Australia^ business men twelve months ago. His airship is 170' feet long, with 105,000 feet cubic capacity, twin engines, and a cruising range of 3000 miles. Captain Frederick Bootliby is to execute the final details. There will be a crew of four. ' The ship, will follow Hinkler's route, flying day and night.
