NOT ELIGIBLE
A BOWLING COMPETITION" , (By Tolegraph.) (Special to "The Evening Post.") CHKISTCHUBCHjThis Day. An interesting position has arisen,in regard to the Maddison trophy for a, bowling competition conducted by tho Cliristchnroh Centre in March last. The rules of the competition lay down that competitors must be tho champion singles players of their respective clubs for tho current season dt the date of entry, and that no other players are eligible. ' . ' A discovery* was mado some time after tho competitions "had ' concluded that some of tho clubs had not nominated their champions because their competitions had not been concluded. They; therefore nominated other players'who, according to the' rules, aro not eligible. An inquiry has revealed that no fewer than five of the players who took part were not this year's champions. The centre will probably' discuss the matter at the next meeting.
