WEDDING

A recent wedding at St. Paul's ProCathedral was that of Daphne Joan, eldest daughter of Mrs. and* tho late Major P. W. Skelley, and Maurice, eldost son of Mr. and Mrs. C. .Hausmann, of Feilding. Archdeacon Innes-Jones, officiated. The bride was escorted by her urfcle, Mr. C. H. T. Skelley, and was in a charmingly simple gown of white mariette and radium lace, with closefitting bodice, and full skirt, with scalloped hem. At each side of the skirt was a full flaire, daintily finished at tho hem with a scallop of radium lace, the folds falling below the hem-line, forming tho prevailing uneven hem. Her veil, which formed a train, was hold in place by a coronet of real orange blossom, and she carried a shower bouquet of nerino lapogeria, cyclamen, and maidenhair. The bridesmaids. Misses Molly Skelley'and Marjorio Hausmann, wore gold and apricot shot taffetas, with tight-fitting bodices and full skirts opening in front to show a panel of guipure lace. They also wore becoming apricot crinoline hats, trimmed with velvet to tone. They carried posies of African daisies, autumn leaves, roses, and maidenhair. The best man and groomsman wore Mr. G. Martin and Mr. B. Berg respectively.- A--'pleasant .reception was afterward^' heltl., by Mrs. Skelley, the tables being "artistically decorated with gold and autumn-tinted chrysanthemums. Mrs. Skelley wore a navy costume with hat to match and> an ermine fur. Her bouquet consisted of cyclamen, irises, violets, and,maidenhair. Mrs. Hausmann was gowned in fawn crepe d chine, with green facings and felt hat to tone. She carried a bouquet of autumn tints and maidenhair. Mr. and Mrs. Hausmann left on a motor tour, tho latter wearing a mushroom-brown costume, .model .felt hat, and fojcjt'ur.. .
