SCHOOL STAFF CHANGES
. CONFERENCE SITTING t A conference called by the Minister of Education for tho purpose of considering, the possibility of effecting reductions in the number of changes which occur in the staffing of primary schools is sitting this afternoon. The Minister (the Hon. B. A. Wright), who called the interested parties together as the result of complaints' made to him by a Wellington deputation some weeks ago, is not taking part personally, the interests of the Department of Education being watched by admin istrative officers. The personnel of the conference is as follows: Mr. H. A. Parkinson, representing tho New Zealand Educational Institute; Miss Jean Park, representing the New Zealand Women Teachers' Association; Mr.'T. Forsyth, M.P., representing the Wellington Education Board; Mr. A. M'Kenzie, representing the Headmasters' Association; and Mr. L. Hennessey, representing the' Wellington School Committees'. Association.
