CHAMPIONSHIP MEETING.

Tho executive o£ the W.M.R.A. are very busy putting evcrythinK in order for tho championship mooting on Monday next, 4th .Tune. The Harbour Board has again kindly put its shed No. 29 (near King's Wharf) at the disposal of the association, and tho executive and all miniature supporters must feel very indebted for their generosity, Without this assistance it would be almost impossible to conduct the meeting, as it requires n big building to run the programme successfully. Tho entries are coming in freely, and with the increased prize money and trophies it looks as though this tenth annual championship will eclipse all others, more especially when it i 3 known that all clubs have an increased membership this season. 'i'lie meeting will he officially opened by the Mayor, Jlr. 0. A. Troun, vlco-patroii, who will bo introduced by tho president. Colonel G. Mitchell, 8.5.0. Tho programme consists of nine matches aggregating over £70 in prizes. The order of matches is as follows: —1, Invitation Match. 25 yards, 10 shots, optional sighter. 2, Ladies' Match, 25 yards, 10 shots, optional sighter. 3, Birthday Match, 50' yards, T shots, optional slghter. 4. Wellington Match, 25 yards, 10 shots, optional sightcr. 5. C Grade Match, 25 yards, 7 shots, optional lighter. 0. Teams Match. 1. Ladles'. Teams Match. 8. W.M.It.A. Championship. 9. W.M.It.A. Ladies' Championship. ; There will also be a B Grade Aggregate and an optional aggregate (a now innovation). The thanks of the association are- due to all donors of medals, trophies, and cash donations. The Wairarapa Association will bo represented asrain by a strong contingent, and a real good day is being eagerly looked forward to
