INTERCLUB MATCHES

CHAMPIONSHIP ARRANGE- , MENTS - (Notes by "Trigger.") Last week's A grade matches produced some very good totals with most of tho teams, and the 'winners iv each case had a fair margin to spare. Hutt were again top scorers, with Public Service next highest. The South 2 team were In tho running for a real good score,' when a misfortune befel one of Its members, which gave the. team a very medium total. • The captain of the team, W. Spencer, Is to be congratulated on getting his "possible," which makes tho second for him this season in lntcr-club matches. "Billy" is shooting at the top of Ills form now, and" seems as active as when lie played representative football for ■Wellington, over twenty years ago. Tlio other "possible" honours for last week go to L. Hare (Hutt) and Carsteiis (Brooklyn). , s In tho C grado the shooting was Quito up to standard in some teams, and tho lower scores aro nearly all by first-year shots, who are in tho making. Some of tlib ladies shot particularly well—Miss Goodwin, of Railway, being tho lady to hold the honours with 08.
