A message fronf Tarragona states tha^ after .'a week's, hunt, in which hundreds, including the\ murderer's brother, and .his dog, participated, found the youth who ran amok-and shot eleven women and children. The youth refused to surrender, and a pursuer fired and killed him. "The Times" Madrid- correspondent reported on 21st' May that a youth in the village of Pasanant, in- the province of Taragona, induced some children to go into the fields to watch pigeon, shooting. He then, shot seven children dead with a, double-barrelled ■shotgun,, and killed the eighth en' route to the village, where he shot a woman dead, wounded another, and then slew her with an axe, and wounded five more.
