Arising from a misconception of the real purpose of the visit of forty "Aus-tral-Scots," representing every State in Australia, a number of unemployed assembled, outside tho delegation's headquarters at the Synod Hall. One of the "Austral-Scots" tactlessly remarked, "Do.n't stay on the 'dole,' go to Australia and work." The replies from . the "unemployed, are unprintable. Happily, another" Austral-Scot" ponrcd oil on the.troubled, waters, and the incident, was^oon forgotten. Edinburgh is bathed in sunshine, the first typical spring weather since tho "Austral-Scots" arrived. A number of the delegates visited the American Memorial; picturesquely .' situated in Princes Street Gardens. . Another large party ... joined a, motor party to tour the Scott country. The Lord .High Commissioner for Scotland requested expert, delegates to come and discuss the possibilities 'and value of. sen ding Ayrshire stud cattle to Australia. ■'..-. Tho hospitality is unabated, and the delegates-agree, that they are having the most wonderful- time of their lives.
