TESTS SATISFACTORY (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) GISBORNE, This Day. Wireless advice has been received by Mr. O'Meara from the " San Francisco Examiner" ttation 6ABD that Kingsford Smith's airplane Southern Cross is equipped with the most efficient wire-, less plant for the Pacific(flight. During, a test flight from Los Angeles' to San Francisco the airplane maintained twoway communication with GARD, the tests being exceptionally satisfactory. The Southern Cross operates on a 40 metro waveband and the code call is KHAB. •
