BIG FLOATING CRANE.
! The arrival at Cardiff clocks last month of a new floating crane -which had licen towed round from liotterdam by tho Dutch tuß Liiulburg, aroused a good deal of interest. Tlio crane, which was built in Belgium for tho Great Western Railway Company, will be used at the Welsh ports for all kinds -of heavy work. It has a lifting capacity of 120 tons. FLOATING BRIDGE SINKS. Breaking its guiding hawser, v floating . bridge at Southampton drifted down the Itchen in March with nearly liOO passengers on board, and gradually sank. Just boforc it settled down the rescue of the passengers and crew was completed.
