A presentation of a case 'of pipes, a rug, and a fountain pen was made at tho Harbourmuster's office this morning to Captain A. .1. lUadmiore, who is retiring from tho Harbour Hoard at the end of the muiitli after 24 years as head signalman at Beacon Hill. The Harbourmaster (Captain J. Hawson), who made the presentation, referred to Captain Blackmorc's loin; and faithful service, and conveyed to bin) the board's be.it wishes for the future. CupUln V. A. Alacindoe, on behalf of the Merchant Service Guild, and the Deputy Harbourmaster (Captain J. Spence) wished Captain Blackmore a long life . and every happiness. '
