GISBORNE, This Day. Taranaki Oilfields, Ltd., reports:—Gisborne No. 1 Well: 2910 feet in soft shale, 6Vi inches diameter casing to 2930 feet. Gisborne No. 2 well to 700 feet in hard sandstone and shale.
