PARKER-LAMB TIMBER CO.

(By Telegraph.) (Special to "The Evening Post.") AUCKLAND, This Day. The annual meeting of. shareholders in the Parker-Lamb Timber Company was held yesterday, Mr. J. A. Lamb presiding. The annual report and balance-sheet were adopted, and a dividend of 6 per cent, was declared. Outlining the past year's activities, the chairman said all timber companies had experienced a bad time, the Parker-Lamb Company among them. Large stocks were on hand, but all had been taken at conservative values. About 7,000,000 feet or CTOO.OOO feet of kauri timber was available on the east coast, aiftl several million feet could be obtained from the Government in the Hokianga and Kaipara districts. Removal by the Government- of the restriction on export would bring relief, although the benefits might be some time i/i coming. Duties imposed on the American Oregon were also aiding New Zealand companies.
