TWO HOUSES DESTROYED
fßy Telegraph.—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, This Day. Two modern .bungalows in Edendale, one owned and occupied by Mr. J. T. Crowley, and the other owned and occupied by Mr. R. W. Parker, were destroyed by fire early on Sunday morning. Carrying their two young children, Mr. Crowley and his wife escaped in night attire. Mr. Crowloy aroused Mr. Parker, who escaped with his wife and thvco children, anil Mrs. Parker, sen., with only the clothing they were able to seize. Both houses and. contents were insured.
