HEAVY AIR TRAFFIC

The WJiitsun'tidc Holiday traffic, which began last night when the roads to the country and seaside wero crowded with motor-cars and coaches, was exceptionally heavy to-day. Fine, warm weather has set in following a prolonged sunless, rainy period. On the railways many trains ran in duplicate and triplicate. A feature of yesterday's traffic was the large number of Continental bookings. AVfTile the vast majority used the steamer services, many travelled by air, and the entire fleet of Imperial Airways was brought into uso to deal with passengers. Forty air liners of various nationalities were required at Croyclon station to cope with Continental traffic. z
