HUTT VALLEY CLUB
The Hult Valley Harriers held their run on Saturday from Kpuni Hamlet, 29 turning out, including seven lady runners. Four packs ■were formed, J. Stqpleton bein* in charge of the slow pack, 5V Craig the intermediate puck, and V. Smith the fast pack. Mrs. V. Smith captained the lady runners. The trail, laid by D. Dorn and G. Clarke, ]ed from Mr. Dora's residence down the back of Waiwetu road, through, the' Chinamen's Gardens, and over the hills towards Nainai. Going through Whiteman's Valley, past the settlement and into Park avenue, it returned home through Nainai lane. A 220 yds run-in resulted in a win for -Gilchrist,-. Mfli'jf shall second and lOmerson thirds.:Mr. DoriJ"; afterwards entertained the runners at; afternoon tea.
