Oliver, Assistant' director of the- Dominion Museum, would lecture in. Nelson at the School of Music onrlGth June. Mr.- Olivers-sub- . ject will be "The Sub-Antarctic Islands," which he visited in 1927," when the Tutanekai paid her- last visit there. The lecture will be illustrated with photographs of the bird life of these islands. • ' '■■'- ' The auxiliary schooner Fairburn, bound from Wellington to Karamea, put into nelson this morning on account of a:" broken propeller- shaft.
