singing of Miss Amy Evans and Mr. Fmscr Giiiigu In the four concerts they liuvc given under the Urnvestock management in Wellington, will be clad to learn tliat arrangements liiive been completed by the Royal Choral Union for the appearance, of these two artists in "Elijah" at the Town Hall next Saturday. The presence of such eminent and cultured musicians should prove ' irresistible to all lovers of music of the highest class. The other- principals for this performance will he tho contralto/ Jtlss Francis Morrison, of nk-nlieim; mezzo. Miss Iris Potter; and tenor. Mr. Edwin Dcunis. This occasion will mark' tho first public appearance of llic nciv musical director Mr. John Bishop, who has during the last three months been giving the choir and orchestra a thorough tralninig. A full rehearsal will be held on Monday evening in St. John's Schoolroom and the final at/ the Town Hall next Friday. The box plan opens, at the Bristol on Tuesday morning.
