MISSIONARY EXHIBITION
The exhibition of missionary, curios, etc., under the auspices of tho London Missionary Society Auxiliary, opened this afternoon jii. the Congregational Hall, Cambridge terrace. The various courts arc surprisingly typical of the fields they represent —including India, Africa, China, Polynesia—Papua 'also giving a special display. There iiro all sorts of things on view, and the various supervisors demonstrate and explain the uses of these strange articles from other countries. The British and Foreign Bible Society's exhibit completes, .a very comprehensive collection. The exhibition will be continued on Monday evening from G o'clock. This evening at 7.30. in the Cambridge Terrace Church, the Rev. H. Johnson will lecture on "Ten Years in Central Africa," with lantern 'illustrations. To-morrow will be observed in tho Congregational Churches as Missionary Sunday, and in tho afternoon a young people's demonstration will take place. The final session on Monday evening will lie ; the "Celebration of James Chalmers (Tamate)." Admission is free to all these functions, and collections are to be taken for tho London Missionary Society. • .
