ALLEGED CONSPIRACY

An inquiry has been in progress for some time past concerning the riding in the two high-weight handicaps at the recent Rotorua Racing Club's annual'meeting. It is alleged by the racing authorities that there was a conspiracy among certain jockeys regarding 'the running of certain horses in those events, and the matter will be finally dealt with by the Judicial Committee of the Rotorua Jockey Club next week.
