MISS M'ELDOWNEY'S PAINTINGS
; «■ ' A few months ago Miss Iva M'Eldownev the well-known Wellington artist; returned after four years spent in travelling in many lands, and painting wbene%ei possible, and last night her many friends had an opportunity of seeing the work she did while away. The private view of. her paintings in the Art Gallery was a very pleasant' event, and Miss M'Mowncy was warmly congratulated on the nign standard of her work. Among those Present were Mr. and Mrs. C.
